How do you define RegTech? Are we are RegTech firm?

We define a RegTech firm as one produces a technology solution that regulated firms can use to help them to comply with regulations or external standards. The solutions RegTech firms create can include a variety of applications, including, risk management, data privacy and cyber-security, client and counterparty identification, transaction monitoring, conduct monitoring and risk reduction, regulatory change monitoring and regulatory intelligence, product compliance, regulatory reporting and GRC tools.

Is RegTech only for Financial Services?

No, absolutely not. There are many regulated industries who can and do use technology to help them with their regulatory compliance - these include healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transportation, oil and gas to mention just a handful. We can help you to identify use cases in other industries where your technology may be able to add significant value and where there may be a real appetite to buy.

What type of firms do you work with?

Generally speaking, we work with growth mode scale-up firms who have are established and have a validated product. We help firms to grow and scale to gain new and larger clients, and to increase their international presence.

How are you different from xyz accelerator?

There are lots of business accelerators out there, some of them are provided by investors and others by government and quasi-government agencies to help firms to be more successful. We are different in two key ways: Firstly, we are subject matter experts in the business of regulatory compliance, no general accelerator has the depth of industry knowledge that we have access to. Secondly, we work with you at a very practical level, working on your product propositions, creating visibility and building your brand, and working to generate a pipeline of prospects that can turn into generating tangible results for you.

Yes, absolutely, that is what we are here for. We can start with very small engagements, for example, creating a thought leadership article or a product brochure and work up from there.
